Some people are drawn to city lights. I’ve always been drawn to the edge of the ocean.
My name is Kevin! I’m a content creator and adventurer born and raised in Donegal, I grew up surrounded by rugged coastlines, rolling hills and ever changing skies. Nature wasn’t just a backdrop it was part of who I am.
The wind off the Atlantic, the quiet of a mountain trail, the rhythm of waves against the shore, these are the places I feel most at home.

During the uncertainty of the pandemic, I turned to what I knew best: the outdoors. What began as a personal escape soon became a purpose. I set out to explore and document the Wild Atlantic Way not just to show its beauty, but to remind people of what’s waiting for them outside their front door.

And that’s how The Wild Atlantic Traveller was born.

Today, my journey is about more than just travel. It’s about connection to landscapes, to local communities, to hidden gems, and to the incredible hospitality that makes every adventure unforgettable. Whether I’m hiking along sea cliffs, kayaking through quiet waters, exploring charming towns, or discovering remarkable places to stay and eat, I aim to capture the full experience the feeling of being there.

As a father of two adventurous children who often join me, travel has taken on an even deeper meaning. It’s about showing them the world, creating shared memories, and teaching them to respect and appreciate nature’s raw beauty. Seeing the wonder in their eyes reminds me why I started.

My background in hospitality has shaped how I tell stories. I understand the power of experience how a warm welcome, a thoughtfully prepared meal, or a unique stay can transform a trip into something unforgettable. That’s why I’m passionate about working alongside hotels, eateries, tourism boards, and adventure providers to showcase not just places, but moments.

While Donegal will always be home, my adventures have taken me further afield in recent years from the elegance of Milan and Venice to France and parts of the United States. No matter the destination, my purpose remains the same: to inspire others to explore, to wander, and to truly experience what’s out there.

Through cinematic drone footage from my DJI Mini 4 Pro, immersive outdoor storytelling with my Sony camera and of course my GoPro, and authentic, on-the-ground content, I aim to bring my audience into the heart of every adventure.
Because travel, to me, isn’t about ticking boxes.
It’s about feeling alive in the moment.
